Caring Network is providing a series of meetings on various topics of interest to the public. All meetings will have brief Question and Answer periods. Most will include information you can take with you. All speakers will be available after for further questions.

“Death and Dying I.” Introduction to new ideas, changes, and practices that shape how we think about death, dying, and grief. There will be time for questions and interaction. Lorraine Hedtke, MSW, ACSW, LCSW teaches nationally and internationally about death, dying, and grief. She is employed by VITAS Innovative Hospice Care as a Bereavement Services Manager for the Inland Empire.

“Death and Dying II.” Helpful conversations with people who are dying and people who are living with grief. Introduction of the idea of "re-membering" questions. Lorraine Hedtke, MSW, ACSW, LCSW teaches nationally and internationally about death, dying, and grief. She is employed by VITAS Innovative Hospice Care as a Bereavement Services Manager for the Inland Empire.

“Death and Dying III.” Discussion of how "re-membering" can be helpful with children who are grieving, or to ease the loss when a child dies. Lorraine Hedtke, MSW, ACSW, LCSW teaches nationally and internationally about death, dying, and grief. “Exercise For All Ages and Situations” Angie Lustrick, Nutritionist and Personal Trainer, will conduct this meeting. Angie was a guest speaker at our previous meeting on Nutrition. There may be some committee and audience participation. Are you ready for some serious fun and loads of laughs?
