Remember the moment of life in order to remember the moment of death. Remember to remember to remember. Keeping this “Memento Mori” in our lives frees us from grasping, helps us recognize and even welcome the workings of impermanence. Ms. Riehl incorporated readings from her book “Sightlines: A Poet’s Diary” and brief musical interludes in a moving talk that revealed more on our theme of how to Expect the Sacred.
