Sandstone CUUPS
What is CUUPS?
CUUPS is a member chapter of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans. We are an organization within the Universalist Unitarian Church of Riverside with a two-fold mission: to provide information, education, and networking opportunities to Pagans and interested parties of other faiths, and also to do outreach and interfaith work with non-Pagans to promote religious tolerance and understanding.
Meeting are held the first Friday of each month in the Parish Hall of UUCR at 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM
Meet other local people of Earth centered traditions who believe in supporting each person's search for truth, a respect for the world's religions, the independent web of life, and the democratic process. Celebrate the sacred circle of life. All paths are welcome, Pagan, Native American, Wiccan, Goddess worship or any nature honoring spirituality.
This is a place where people can ask questions; share their point of views without fear of "flaming" or being ridiculed. A fun atmosphere and positive attitude are important. If you have ideas that differ great! That's what it’s all about- experiencing different beliefs and spirituality.
Quotes from recent meetings:
"Sandstone CUUPs is a welcoming, comfortable place. Everyone who attends is respected and encouraged to share their knowledge, ideas, and experiences. Meetings have fun, hands-on activities. I always feel better about life after I go."
"I think that people should join because this is a good mix of eclectic pagans and we all have our paths and ways but we do share a common bond and shouldn’t be afraid to talk about it."
"A lot of really great people! I love the diversity and the willingness to share paths...I enjoyed it very much!"
