Two Things You Must Know to Understand Modern Judaism
Rabbi Yitzhak J. Miller elucidated two key historical realities that undergird almost the entirety of modern Judaism: the historical relationship between Jewish culture and Jewish religion, and the change from Priestly to Rabbinic Judaism since the advent of Christianity. His talk provided the foundation for a 3-session series on Thursday evenings beginning May 8th whose subjects are: Jewish spirituality, Jewish ethics, and Jewish community.
